Australian Gold Cup

 

Birds released at 7.00am at Mildura, blue sky with W NW winds. Birds left unit like a snake breaking into two groups both heading south. They were totally out of sight in 3 minutes. Weather on trip home was mainly moderate NW winds, some rain encountered after Avoca, but mainly blue sky and clouds all the way back.

 

The Portland and Mt Gambier (SA) birds have put in a great effort considering the wind conditions on the race day, these guys deserve some recognition in this Event!
