7.00am, but with the winds increasing the release time was reviewed a number of times. finally they were under way at 9.15am
they had up to 50+km wind assistance and then with storms impending and the heavens opening mid afternoon, the timing needed to be spot on.
The Birds were travelling at almost 3000 mpm, Well done to Ken Tucker from Rockhampton QLD for taking out the
$10,000 in the Big Event in 2007
